Z88Aurora — Finite Element Analysis with a GUI

One of the few in the free world that offers a complete FEA workflow in a graphical interface without writing a line of code: import a CAD model, generate a mesh, define loads and boundary conditions, solve, and view stresses and displacements. Developed at the University of Bayreuth in Germany since the 1980s and used there in teaching. It supports linear static, buckling, thermal and modal analysis. Because of the GUI it is a reasonable entry point for students not yet ready to work with solver input files like those of CalculiX.
