Zim Desktop Wiki

A graphical editor for a collection of linked wiki pages, stored as ordinary text files in folders, so you can read and back them up even without the program. You create a new page simply by linking to it, attach images and files, and saving is automatic. Plugins add task lists, an equation editor, a journal and version control. It suits project logbooks, work procedures, meeting notes and professional knowledge that builds up over time.
