Zoo (formerly KittyCAD)
A solid-modelling CAD program that combines normal mouse-driven work with a code interface in the KCL language, so every operation is stored as code you can edit and reproduce. The Zookeeper assistant takes plain-language instructions, builds and fixes geometry and inspects the model. There are versions for Windows, macOS and Linux and a test build in the browser. Suited to mechanical engineers who want a parametric model managed as code. Limitations: an account and an internet connection are needed even for modelling, because the geometry engine runs on Zoo servers, and the free plan has a limited monthly Zookeeper allowance.
