A simulator for developing, training and validating autonomous driving systems. It provides simulated sensors — LIDAR, cameras, depth sensors and GPS — along with ground truth such as semantic segmentation. You can create maps following the ASAM OpenDRIVE standard, define traffic scenarios with ScenarioRunner and connect to ROS. It is controlled through a Python API. Researchers and automotive and transport engineers use it to test algorithms before field trials. It needs a powerful computer with a dedicated graphics card.
