An industrial-grade finite element solver developed by the French electricity utility for its own verification work and released as open source. It covers static and dynamic analysis, material and geometric nonlinearity, contact, creep, fatigue and thermo-mechanical problems, at a depth rarely found in a free tool. It is designed to work with SALOME as its pre- and post-processing environment. This is not a tool for everyday design but a solver for anyone who needs an answer they can defend.
