A toolbox for analysing robot dynamics and building control systems, with an emphasis on optimisation-based design. It includes a framework for modelling dynamical systems, multibody simulation with friction and contact, a mathematical programming library for optimisation problems, and trajectory planning and control. It exploits sparsity and analytical gradients to solve large problems efficiently. Originally developed at MIT, it is now led by Toyota Research Institute. It suits mechanical and robotics engineers in research and development.
