A building energy simulation engine computing heating and cooling loads, energy consumption, thermal comfort and daylight across a full year in short time steps. It handles the envelope, HVAC systems, service hot water and renewables, and it is the engine behind a large share of the green building rating tools worldwide. Input is text-based, so most users drive it through an interface such as OpenStudio.
