Fiji (ImageJ)

A program for quantitative image processing and analysis, widely used in research and laboratories. You calibrate the scale and measure lengths, areas and angles, count particles, analyse grain size and porosity, and process image sequences. In materials and soil labs it is used to measure cracks, microstructure and photographed test results. Fiji is the distribution of ImageJ that comes with hundreds of plugins pre-installed.
