Gpg4win installs GnuPG on Windows together with Kleopatra, a manager for OpenPGP and S/MIME keys and certificates, GpgOL for email encryption in Outlook and GpgEX for encryption from the right-click menu in File Explorer. An engineer uses it to encrypt drawings, calculations or tender documents before sending them to a client, to digitally sign a file so the recipient can check it was not changed, and to verify signatures of downloaded software. Limitation: OpenPGP is complex for beginners, and the other side also needs a compatible tool and a public key.
