Upscayl

Upscayl is a desktop app that enlarges low-resolution images and restores detail using AI models, including batch processing of a whole folder and a choice of several models. Processing happens on your own computer, so images are not sent to a server. An engineer can use it to improve an old photo of a plan or detail, a small catalogue image needed in a presentation, or slightly blurred site photos. Limitation: a Vulkan-capable graphics card is required and most integrated GPUs do not work, and the model invents detail, so the result must not be relied on for measurements.
