Vectary — The Complete Guide: 3D and AR Product Presentations in the Browser

Vectary is not a tool for designing parts but for presenting them. Import a 3D model, set materials and lighting, add animation and interaction — then share a link the client opens in a browser or on a phone, including augmented reality viewing. Everything runs in the browser, with no install.

What you get

What is free and what is paid

The free plan is for individuals: up to five projects and one seat, including 3D model import, private share links and animations. CAD file import, comments, AI credits and extra seats need a paid subscription, and an account is required. In practice, a SolidWorks or STEP model must first be converted to a mesh format. It is also not a tool for drafting or engineering design.

Related tools

For unlimited rendering and animation — Blender. For viewing and sharing a model as is — Online 3D Viewer. For designing the part itself — FreeCAD.

The bottom line

A quick way to turn a model into an interactive presentation the client opens with one click. For the design itself and for many projects, you need other tools or a subscription.
