OctoPrint

Gina Häußge (OctoPrint project)

OctoPrint
Download from the vendor octoprint.org

OctoPrint runs on a small computer such as a Raspberry Pi connected to the printer and lets you control it from any browser on the network. You can upload G-code, start, stop and pause jobs, watch the print through a webcam, monitor and adjust temperatures, jog axes and view a G-code visualiser. Plugins add notifications, failure detection, multi-printer handling and more. It suits labs and prototyping rooms where several people share printers. Limitation: it needs a separate computer next to the printer, and the officially supported hardware is a set of Raspberry Pi models.
