What is free and what is not

The free Basic plan is web-only, with per-tool limits: merge up to 25 files and 100 MB, compress 2 files at a time, and Office conversions and OCR one file up to 15 MB, plus a cap on overall processing. Editing existing text, the desktop and mobile apps and an ad-free experience are reserved for the paid Premium subscription. Privacy: files are uploaded to the company’s servers, encrypted and deleted within two hours, and you can delete them manually sooner. For sensitive contracts and drawings a local tool is the better choice.
